Strategically Creative.

Anthony Urquidez (BRAND BUILDER & DESIGN SHERPA)
I am a logo maker and branding aficionado creating out of Corona, California. I began my creative journey in 2005 by making t-shirt designs for local bands in my area. I had many inspirations from music and streetwear, and was blessed to have a community of creatives around me to help guide me through my formative design years. As I became more experienced in the apparel design field, I began to feel as if there was more that graphic design had to offer and began learning all I could about logo design and branding.

I had stopped taking on freelance projects as I worked for a local pub as their in-house designer. This role gave me the experience needed to get hired in my current role of Graphic Artist for the largest beer distributor in the United States, Reyes Holdings. This has been the biggest blessing to my career, as I have been able to work with brands such as MolsonCoors, Coca Cola and Diageo and see what goes into successful brands, campaigns, and companies. Success leaves clues and blueprints, and I have been determined to find them all in order to make the biggest positive impact possible for brands I worked with.

I took the information I learned here and began to take on new freelance projects, applying a strategy-based approach to each company or brand I partnered with. I began to be a partner rather than an order taker and what I found was when the client and I were able to define our goals of success together and scaffold towards those objectives, I had a higher rate of approved projects and and even greater impact on those businesses. My goal now is to provide value to another creative team and continue to strengthen my strategically creative process.

My Four Main Values Are:

  • Honesty

  • Consistency

  • Authenticity

  • Vulnerability

I love what I do and the people I get to work with. Being a creative is more than just a job, it is who I am and what I do. With that said if you want to get in touch to learn more or just say hello, feel free to press the contact button below.
